The Capsule Wardrobe

This is a small collection of essential garments from the backbone of your wardrobe, regardless of what is currently in fashion. They are the garments that you are likely to hold on to for the longest, due to their timelessness and versatility, despite changing trends. I am looking forward to sharing more on my essential choices with you, to guide you on choosing these pieces well.



You will have to make sure that you choose the colors and cuts that suit your shape and colouring well – and buy the best quality that you can afford. Capsule classics should although be seen as investment pieces that will stay in your wardrobe for years, maybe even decades, and are trusty garments that will never fail you. If you have a good capsule wardrobe then you will find it a lot easier to dress and to maximize the number of outfits you can create from each garments.


Creating a capsule wardrobe is also a great way of streamlining your wardrobe so that you can see what you actually wear the most! Sometimes it’s easier to start from scratch. I am going to guide you through my blog to what I suggest is the 10-15 most wearable, versatile garments that you get the most use out of.


These are your foundation capsule pieces around which you build the rest of your wardrobe. These garments should be from neutral, coordinating palettes. They are the main point of having these classic pieces that any new colorful or patterned seasonal garment that you introduce into your wardrobe will match up easily with something from the classics already present. Each capsule piece is also easy to dress up or down, depending on whether you wear heels or flats.
